Forwarding logs to our platform is a necessary step in setting up your Valyu integration. This process enables us to provide comprehensive analytics on bot traffic and other metrics, offering a centralised view of your bot traffic. Check below for the instructions to set up analytics for Vercel.
Before setting up logging make sure you have onboarded your domain on the Valyu Exchange platform. Go to Add Data and onboard your domain.
To forward logs from Vercel, first go to the team settings tab in your project and select Log Drains.
Then, follow the screenshots below to configure your settings:
Select All team projects to add logging to all your projects.
If not select which projects you would like to add logging for.
(If you select all or multiple projects please ensure that you add each separate project as its own domain so that you can view bot analytics for each)
Add https://internal.api.valyu.network/v1/vercel as your endpoint.
Click Custom Headers.
Set "x-vercel-valyu-verify" as a header key and copy the verify URL ownership header from the verify box as the header value.
Set "x-api-key" as a header key and pass your Valyu Logging Api Key as the header value. You can generate your api key in the user's api key section.
Click Verify to verify url ownership the endpoint.
Click Add Log Drain to finish.
A pop up will show you the cost of setting up logging. The cost is estimated at $10 per 2,000,000 hits/month.
Ignore the verify step after. We verify your logs using your api key.
Once this has set up, your logs will be forwarded to Valyu and you will be able to view your Bot Traffic on the Valyu Exchange platform.
